Preecha Seafood is a beloved institution in the Na Chom Thian area south of Pattaya, drawing a loyal following of locals, expats, and in-the-know tourists who make the short drive down the coast specifically for the food. With over 9,100 Google Maps reviews and a solid 4.1-star rating, it is one of the most-reviewed restaurants in the greater Pattaya area — a testament to its consistent quality and broad appeal. The restaurant sits right by the sea, with casual open-air tables and the kind of no-frills atmosphere that signals the kitchen is where all the effort goes. The menu is focused and confident: fried squid with salted egg yolk is the dish that regulars order without looking at the menu, alongside fried soft-shell crab with garlic, steamed fish with lime and chilli, and a tom yum that has been refined over decades. Service is fast and efficient even during busy lunch periods, and the pricing is genuinely reasonable — mid-range by Pattaya standards, with most dishes between 150 and 400 THB. Preecha Seafood is the kind of place that feels like a local secret even though it is anything but, and it represents exactly the sort of authentic, unpretentious Thai seafood experience that visitors to the area should seek out. Open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Sign InWorth the drive from central Pattaya. This is proper Thai seafood at Thai prices. The fish dishes are all excellent and the portions are generous. Highly recommend.
Local favourite for good reason. The soft-shell crab with garlic is amazing and the tom yum is properly spicy. Casual atmosphere but the food is top quality. Great value.
Hidden gem down in Na Chom Thian. The fried squid with salted egg is absolutely incredible — I've been back three times just for that dish. Prices are very reasonable and service is fast.
